Natasha Jonas clocked up her eighth professional win on Friday at the Olympia in Liverpool.
Jonas, 35, dropped her opponent numerous times before taking the win with a fourth round stoppage against fellow Brit, Bec Connolly.
Talking about the win, Tasha explained: “I really wanted to showcase my talent here tonight and continue to get back to winning ways. It’s my second win now after my setback last year, so I’m happy to put on a good performance in my home city.
“I work so hard in the gym with the lads and have been really pushing myself, so I’m glad I could put it all together in the ring tonight. Looking forward, I’d love to work up to a world title shot, possibly another couple of wins away, but then I’d love my shot at one of the global titles.
“I just want to thank everyone who has come out to watch me here tonight, or tuned in online, it really means the world to me! Keep tuned for more fight news to come soon hopefully!”
