This week, Joe & Natasha Jonas were invited to attend the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Boxing’s Summer Dinner Event, which was hosted at the House of Commons.
Founded in 2011, the APPG on Boxing seeks to demonstrate the benefits of boxing to Government, decision-makers and wider society. The Group actively participates in the Parliamentary and policy debate on boxing; encourages greater dialogue between boxing stakeholders and Parliamentarians across all sides of the House; and effectively engages with the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and other Government departments to promote boxing in the UK.
Ricky Hatton MBE also attended the event, which was a great opportunity to bring people together to celebrate boxing and discuss how to continue to build a stronger profile for the sport at all levels in Government and across the UK.
